Clydesdale Horse Exhibit

COME SEE THE MAGNIFICENT CLYDESDALE BREED OF HORSES

You know the Clydesdale horses from the Budweiser ads, but where did they come from? Scotland - of course!

The breed originated in Lanarkshire along the River Clyde, and these draught horses served agriculture and industry for decades - in Scotland and many other countries which received over 20,000 Clydesdales over the years. They carried our ancestors across this great nation,  transported our goods, plowed our fields, went to war, and became our  friends and companions in our farming communities.

Now it is estimated that there are only 5,000 of this "vulnerable" breed left in the world. They did so much for us to get us into industrialization!  What can we do for them now?

USA CLYDESDALE PRESERVATION FOUNDATION is a dynamic group of volunteers leading the way for the preservation of the Historical Clydesdale Horse, right here in Gilbert, Arizona

Extinction means forever. Threatened means we still have time! Lets work together.
