Highland dancing is a competitive style developed in the Scottish Highlands in the 19th and 20th centuries, found at events such as the Highland Games. It is often performed with the accompaniment of Highland bagpipe music, and dancers wear specialized attire and shoes. It is now seen at nearly every modern-day Highland Games event.
We are pleased to announce that the Phoenix Open Championship is one of the events offered within our games! This will take place March 4th and 5th.
We look forward to welcoming dancers back to the Phoenix Scottish Games! Registration is now open.
