Kirkin' O' the Tartan
What is a 'Kirkin' ?
This special ceremony is a long-standing tradition at these games and similar events.
As we gather as Scots, we take opportunity to present our tartans to the kirk (church), and for the minister to include a Kirkin (blessing) of the tartans during a brief church service.
